Why you should not be sleeping in night class [4 Reasons ]
In the previous article I outlined how to stay awake in night class, but what if you mistakenly fall asleep? You will see why you should not be sleeping when you are in night class.
A lot of students in the higher institution who have fallen victims have always testified. I am a victim too. I will share with you a short story of my experience in the night class at the end of this article.
Why you should not be sleeping in night class
Some of the students who have slept in night class will tell what happened to them:
- 1. Missing of Item(s):
If you are the type that goes to the night class with items like Phone, laptops, and some gadgets, you will stand the chance of losing them if you sleep in the night class. I have lost two of my android phones in the night class. The first was like a magic, the second like movie and I do not know what the third will look like. Some other students have testified of loss of Laptops, chargers, calculators, textbooks, earpiece, and some others including foot wears. To avoid stories that touches, avoid the habit of sleeping in night classes.
- 2. You get your books Soaked with Saliva:
You may try to exempt yourself from this but the truth is that most of the students who sleep in the class during night readings do drool. Scientist have made researches and have discovered that stress can cause one to drool. In the process of drooling, you get your books soaked, even your textbooks.
- 3. You miss lectures
When you wake up by 6.30 am from night class, do not expect to meet up another student who must have been preparing for the same lectures. Some victims who have been sleeping in the night classes find themselves struggling to catch up with morning lectures. This is very bad. You can even go to the extent of missing important class quizzes.
- 4. You will be given names:
When your roommates and lodge mates discover that you’ve been deceiving them that you read throughout the night while you sleep throughout, you will definitely be given some funny names.
I still remember the day I slept in one of the days in the night class, it was a night to remember indeed. Mine was the case of excessive stress which I could no longer bear. I slept there until everyone left me. When I woke up, the school cleaners were already sweeping the class. The noise these cleaners made woke me up from my sleep. I tried to pretend as if I knew what I was doing, but to no avail. My eyes were already dim, I staggered out of the class with my slippers, and I ran back to the hostel. I was lucky none of the above things happened to me. I didn’t soak my books, I still attended my lectures, in fact, the luck I had was that it was during the exams period when I had no papers.
That was my short story and I believe you have your own to share too.
